1. Nature of This Service
Montclair Residents Directory is a private reference service. It describes and links to public rolls, indexes, and directory collections connected with current or former Montclair, New Jersey residents. It does not host government records and is not connected with any government office, court, or records custodian.
2. Lawful Use Rules
Use this service only for lawful purposes. You may not use it, or information located through it, to:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm any person
- Locate someone protected by a restraining or protective order
- Commit identity theft or fraud
- Make a decision regulated by the FCRA, including credit, employment, tenant screening, or insurance
- Scrape, copy, or republish the site's content at scale
- Interfere with the site's operation or security
3. No Consumer Reports
This service is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. §§ 1681–1681x. Neither the material here nor a result from a linked tool is a consumer report. Government portals and third-party services, including sponsored search tools, use their own terms and policies. We do not control their content, availability, pricing, or data handling.

11. Governing Law
New Jersey law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Public-record access discussed in the service is governed separately by the New Jersey Open Public Records Act, P.L. 2001, c. 404, codified at N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq., and by the statutes and rules controlling each specific record type.
12. Severability
If a portion of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective.
